SUZUKI RACING

The latest breaking news for all things Team Suzuki
  1. The unexpectedly inclement weather in Aragon complicated the working schedule of Team SUZUKI ECSTAR in the first day in Aragon. Andrea Iannone used his greater experience in wet conditions to his advantage ending in 14th place, while the younger Alex Rins is currently in 21st.
  2. Before starting his career in MX, Dave Geurts worked as a maintenance technician for a Belgian company. A couple of months after that company closed its doors in 2007, Dave got a phone call from Harry Everts. That's when his professional MX adventure began. By 2015, the year that he joined GRP in Lommel, he had gathered a lot of experience from working with several motocross teams.
  3. The upcoming Aragon GP will be the last European round before the following three far-away races in Asia/Oceania and therefore an important date to consolidate the latest configurations and set ups.
  4. Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing's Roger Hayden and Toni Elias wrapped-up the 2017 MotoAmerica Superbike Championship at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama with Hayden winning Saturday's opening race - his third win of the season - and Elias second in Sunday's wet second race to cap-off his championship-winning season.
  5. Richard Cooper took another podium finish onboard the Bennetts Suzuki GSX-R1000 at Oulton Park and round 10 of the MCE British Superbike championship, when he finished in second place in Sunday's National Superstock 1000 race, while teammate Sylvain Guintoli recovered from a crash in the opening Superbike race to finish inside the points with 11th in race two.
